EatApp films
Three short product films for email and social.

Overview
EatApp needed short films to announce new features in email campaigns and on social media. I made three, each about one feature and under 40 seconds.
Unlike my After Effects work, these were made with AI: designed in Figma, then animated in code with Remotion and Claude Code. I'd also designed the product itself. See the design system →
From Figma to Remotion
Designed in Figma, animated in Remotion, scored to the cut.
- 1
Design in Figma
Every film started as frames in Figma: real product screens, type and colour, one frame per line of the script.
- 2
Animate in Remotion
Each scene became a component in code, so timing and easing are a one-line change and a re-render.
- 3
Score to the cut
The music is written in code too, so every hit lands exactly on a cut.
Details that matter
One spring
Everything moves on the same spring: fast in, soft landing, no wobble.
A slow push
Each scene drifts in by about 2% while it holds. Felt more than seen.
A flash on the cut
A short bloom hides the seam and lands the beat.
A sound per story
Synth for the launch, warm mallets for the handover, a steady beat for the tables.
